Winter Spring Summer Or Fall

Winter Spring Summer Or Fall, which is still in post-production, reunites Ortega with Percy Hynes White, her Wednesday co-star. The drama “tells the story of two teens who meet and fall in love over four days of the year,” and is directed by Tiffany Paulsen (The Holidate).

Finestkind

In the criminal drama Finestkind, which follows two brothers as they become involved in a business dealing with a Boston-based organized crime gang, Ortega is slated to play Nicky alongside Tommy Lee Jones and Ben Foster. Post-production is under underway for this picture, which was written and directed by Brian Helgeland (A Knight’s Tale, Legend). Filming concluded in May 2022. According to reports, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ansel Elgort, and Zendaya were originally scheduled to feature in the movie.

Miller’s Girl

The film Miller’s Girl, which stars Ortega alongside Dagmara Dominczyk, Martin Freeman, and Christine Adams, will mark Jade Bartlett’s directorial debut. “A creative writing assignment yields complex results between a teacher and his talented student,” is how the comedy-drama is summarized.

Previously, Bartlett was developing the script for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. Her screenplay for Miller’s Girl was included on the 2016 Black List, an annual ranking of the finest scripts of the year that have not yet been produced.

Untitled The Weeknd & Trey Edward Shults Project

Trey Edward Shults is slated to helm the unnamed film, which was revealed by Deadline last month. It is based on an original concept by The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye. Although the plot is yet unknown, Ortega and Barry Keoghan are expected to feature together.

According to Deadline, “both Ortega and Keoghan made it clear they wanted this as their next project, even though they have been weighing several offers following their big years.”

Beetlejuice 2

The idea of a Michael Keaton-starring Tim Burton picture from 1988 has been discussed for 10 years; Keaton first expressed interest in the project in 2014, and the screenplay was revised in 2017.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is currently scheduled to shoot in London in May and June. Ortega is allegedly in discussions to play Lydia’s daughter, played by Winona Ryder, while Burton and Keaton are expected to make a comeback.

Wednesday’s second season

The highly successful Addams Family spinoff Wednesday on Netflix was announced to return for a second season in January.

The show’s creators, Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, remarked to Netflix’s internal newspaper Tudum: “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world.” We’re ecstatic to carry on Wednesday’s arduous journey into the second season. We are eager to explore the bizarre and terrifying realm of Nevermore in a new season.

Although the cast hasn’t been officially announced, Ortega read the season two teaser and has expressed her expectations for the upcoming season, so it’s reasonable to presume she’ll be back and not blinking again.
